    Schools, colleges, high schools?

    In an exceptional setting, the Parc Zoo du Reynou offers activities to discover the fauna and flora, learn how to protect the environment, or participate in the preservation of local and global biodiversity.

    Several educational activities, directly related to the National Education program, are available to school groups by reservation. These activities are organized around school levels. Several themes are available for each level: they are detailed below.

    Kindergarten

    Guided tours

    In shapes and colors! 45 minutes

    Objectives: to develop the sense of observation. Use sight, touch and hearing.

    Concepts addressed:

    • Bases of classification (feathers, hairs, scales)
    • Bases of morphological adaptations in the animal kingdom

     

     

    Educational workshops

    I use my five senses

    Objective: Learn to use the five senses in different situations.

    Concepts addressed:

    • Basis of classification (plant / animal - feathers, hairs, scales)
    • Bases of morphological adaptations in the animal kingdom

    Steps :

    1. In class - use taste and smell
    2. At ZOO Park Reynou - use sight, touch, hearing
    3. In class - use the five senses on a daily basis

    Who am I?

    Objective: To know how to observe, analyze and understand.

    Concepts addressed:

    • Bases of classification (feathers, hairs, scales)
    • Bases of morphological adaptations in the animal kingdom

    Steps :

    1. In class - describe and draw, revise colors
    2. At the ZOO park of Reynou - observe and describe the animals
    3. In class - imagine and tell an animal, collaborate

    Objectives: to know the different diets within the animal kingdom and to understand the corresponding morphological adaptations. Understand the application of these diets in zoos.

    • Morphological adaptations for feeding in birds
    • Morphological adaptations for feeding in mammals

    Objectives: to know the various diets within the animal kingdom. Understand the corresponding morphological adaptations.

    Objectives: to know the fauna of France and Europe. Understand the threats to it.

    • Local, national and European biodiversity
    • Eco-citizen gestures

    2. At ZOO Park Reynou - observe and understand the wolves in Birds and Mammals

    Objectives: to know the various diets within the animal kingdom and to master the principles of food chain. Understand the links between living environment, diet, reproduction and morphological adaptations.
